National Museum of Play

James and I took a trip up North to visit my family. While visiting with my sister in Rochester, NY we went to the National Museum of Play. While it was a little above James' level, the adults had a blast. James had lots of fun with going up and down any stairs he could find and playing with every computer he could find. He was intrigued by all the characters he saw too but I'm not sure he really "got" them.

New Shoes

So James is walking really well now and mostly prefers walking over crawling. He hasn't yet mastered the art of standing up on his own without having something to pull up on so he still has to crawl if he falls down. In honor of him learning to walk we thought it would be appropriate to get him a new pair of brand new shoes (all his other shoes have been hand-me-downs....and future ones will be too after we've seen the prices on new ones!). They are a little big on him so we are hoping they will last for awhile (we actually had to get ones that were a little big because they didn't really have any small enough for his tiny feet!)
